Energy Management is one of the most challenging tasks facing managers in all sectors of the Guyana. But because of their busy schedules, they are only able to devote a small amount of time to administer it properly. Our strong dependence on petroleum based energy even with its spiralling cost has further complicated the issue.

In fact, a recent study done in Guyana found that the average industry can save almost twenty percent (20%) of the cost of their present electricity bill by implementing simple schemes. One such scheme operates automatically and has a payback period of less than eighteen months and a life span of in excess of ten years.
