To consistently provide our clients with technologically sound engineering solutions that meet their expectations at a fee that is reasonable and competitive and which ultimately improve their operations.
Profile
The Guyana Electrical Consultants and Associates is a registered consultancy that was established primarily to lend support to the development of Guyana’s industrial and commercial sectors and where possible the electrically based infrastructure using the most appropriate current technology. We arrived at this juncture based on our findings that these sectors though somewhat efficient, can be significantly improved via the injection of modern systems into their operations.
We attribute our successes to countless hours of research and experimental work dating back to 1997. These were focused on finding the best engineering solution for technical problems or issues bearing in mind the cost factor as well as the competencies of personnel available in the job market.
In every instance we were successful in beating the cost factor. In fact, systems researched and developed thus far have pay-back periods of less than eighteen (18) months in most instances. It is therefore our intention to work closely with our clients from design to implementation and to complement this with personnel training. Thereafter we are committed to offering full-time technical support.
Over the years we have paid particular attention to the sky-rocketing cost of electricity as well as the decline in the number of serviceable traffic signals in the City of Georgetown. Our Energy Management and Traffic Management divisions are both capable of dealing with these problems.
With a combined total of over one hundred years experience, our engineers and technicians have unparalleled work experience covering a vast number of electrical engineering disciplines. As such in the future we intend to extend our services to cater for a larger spectrum of engineering issues in keeping with our mission statement.
