US co. signs MOU for wind energy development

GuyRON Corporation, a company established in the United States of America, is the most recent entity that has expressed interest in exploring the supply of wind energy as an alternative source of power supply in Guyana.

The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with government yesterday to set the stage for its carrying out of data collection and analysis of wind resources at eight locations in Guyana.
The areas are Springlands, Vreed-en-Hoop, Leguan, Wakenaam, Hogg Island, Anna Regina, Charity and Shell Beach.
